Carving out time for himself
As the CEO of a company, Alessio was used to giving all of his time to work. The hardest part, and the most important, was learning to protect a small part of the day for himself. That shift did not just change his body, it changed how he worked.
When you’re the CEO of a company, it’s not really about how many hours you work. It’s about how much time you can get for yourself. You have to carve out a little bit of time for yourself.Alessio
The result
With objective setting, close monitoring and week-by-week accountability, the numbers moved steadily. His weight came down from 72.5kg to 64.4kg, his body fat halved from 24.7% to 12.3%, and his waist dropped by 12cm.
- Weight: 72.5kg → 64.4kg, 8kg lost
- Body fat: 24.7% → 12.3%
- Waist: 87cm → 75cm
I’ve lost eight kilograms of weight and 12% of body fat, and I think this only scratches the surface of the kind of sense of achievement that I felt throughout the process.Alessio
What the mirror tells him now
For Alessio the real change shows up first thing every morning.
When you wake up in the morning and look at yourself in the mirror, the first thing you see is your body shape. If you start the day not liking yourself, you start with a bit of failure. It’s completely different when you look and say, I’ve achieved something. Then the rest of the day is much easier.Alessio
