What you get at ATP Central

Private 1-on-1 sessions

Every session is 60 minutes with your coach. There are no group classes and no open gym floor.

The same coach

We recommend a coach after your consultation, and you train with that coach every session.

Showers and towels

Showers, towels and changing space are on site, so you can train at lunch and go straight back to the office.

Support between sessions

You can message your coach between sessions, for example to ask what to order at a restaurant. The app syncs with Fitbit and MyFitnessPal.

Measured progress

We track body composition with skinfold calipers, body weight, exercise performance and photos, and go through them with you every 4 to 6 weeks.

Men and women

We coach both. Gigi Yung and Maja Holder are two of our female coaches in Central.

How it works

01

Free consultation

A sit-down chat at the studio with a senior coach. We look at your goals, your schedule and what has worked before, then recommend a coach. No payment and no commitment.

02

First session

One hour. Your coach checks how you move, looks at key health and performance markers, agrees your goals with you, and you train.

03

Your 12-week plan

Built on our D.N.A. method: Daily Routine, Nutrition and Activity.

04

Progress reviews

Every 4 to 6 weeks, plus a strategy meeting with your coach each quarter.

We usually recommend about 3 hours a week at the studio, planned around your work and travel.

Questions people ask

Not answered here? WhatsApp us on +852 5139 0416.

Can I train at lunch and get back to the office?

Yes. Lunchtime sessions are common with our Central clients. A session is 60 minutes, and there are showers, towels and changing space on site. We open at 6am on weekdays and close at 10pm, so you can also train before or after work.

How much does a personal trainer in Central cost?

Prices vary between commercial gyms, freelance trainers and private studios, and between single sessions and full programmes. Our guide to personal training costs in Hong Kong sets out typical rates. We go through ATP's options and prices with you at your free consultation.

I haven't trained in years. Is this for me?

Yes. Our clients include complete beginners and people in their 50s and 60s. Your first session starts by checking how you move, so your plan starts from where you are.

I travel a lot for work. What happens when I'm away?

Your plan is built around your diary, trips included. While you are away you can message your coach and log food and activity in the app.

Can I train with a female coach?

Yes. Tell us at your free consultation. Gigi Yung and Maja Holder both coach at the Central studio. More on our female personal trainer page.

Can you work around an old injury?

Often, yes. We have trained clients after knee surgery. Your coach checks how you move first and works around the injury with your physio's guidance. If you have a medical condition, check with your doctor before you start.

More from ATP Hong Kong

Personal training is not a substitute for medical care. If you have a medical condition, check with your doctor and tell your coach before you start.
