Years of effort, no real result
Kieran had trained by himself for years, but never managed to build the physique he was chasing. He wanted to try something new, take his training to the next level, and find people who would hold him properly accountable for his progress.
This year I decided to step up my fitness game and get in proper shape. I knew fat loss was something I wanted to achieve, and I realised it was part of a wider journey to living a healthy, sustainable lifestyle.Kieran
Naming his why
His two biggest hurdles were social occasions and snacking out of habit. Working with his coaches, Kieran realised the answer was not saying no to everything, just being aware of his intake and keeping things in moderation. Early on, his coach told him to get properly clear on his ‘why’, so that when it got hard, he had something solid to come back to.
My coach said at the start to really think about my ‘why?’, so that when things became difficult, just to remember my ‘why’. I cannot emphasise how important this was for my journey. It was a gamechanger.Kieran

Breaking five old habits
Kieran traces his stalled progress to five things: overeating while under-hydrating, convincing himself he was training consistently when he was not, never having an actual training or diet plan, poor sleep from being unable to switch off from work, and training through pain until a niggle became an injury. Fixing each one, from proper hydration to breathing exercises, yoga and stretching for sleep, to working with physiotherapists on his shoulder, is what finally let his new structure hold.

Energy back, mindset changed
The D.N.A. coaching model gave Kieran a way to actually monitor his daily routine, nutrition and activity instead of guessing. With that structure in place, he became noticeably more energetic and stronger, and his friends and family noticed too: he was more active, getting outdoors more, and had picked up running, walks and yoga.
Since working with ATP I’ve felt physically more energetic, stronger and overall healthier. It’s also had a positive impact on my mental health. I’ve had fewer headaches and better sleep.Kieran
18kg down, and stronger for it
Kieran has dropped nearly 18kg and lost most of his body fat. His understanding of nutrition and training has improved drastically, and simple swaps, like trading snacks for berries, coffee or tea, instantly saved him over 300 calories a day.
I’ve dropped nearly 18kg, I feel stronger, I sleep better and I’m a lot more positive about life. My overall knowledge on nutrition and fitness has improved drastically throughout the period.Kieran

When Kieran started, he honestly did not think he could achieve this. He has already recommended friends to ATP, and is now looking at new challenges like rock climbing, keen to share what he has learned with anyone facing the struggles he once did.
