The bet
Every year, Sid and his wife set each other a stretch goal, the kind that feels almost out of reach. This year hers for him was 18% body fat, a target she doubted he could hit within twelve months. Sid, a busy tech professional, started at 27% body fat and used that challenge as the push to finally walk through ATP’s doors.
Every year my wife and I set goals for each other, one goal each, which we feel is a bit of a stretch. This year she set me a target to achieve 18% body fat. When I started off, my body fat was at 27% and now I’m at sub 12%. We crushed that goal.Sid
Why ATP
Sid chose ATP for three reasons: the success stories he had seen online and in his own friendship circle, its closeness to his office, and a level of personalised training and goal-setting he could not find anywhere else. That personal attention shaped everything that followed, from how his programme was built to how closely his coach tracked his progress.

Numbers that moved
Over the course of his programme, Sid’s squat went from 8 reps at 40kg to 8 at 90kg, his bench press from 8 at 30kg to 8 at 70kg, his chin ups from 6 at bodyweight to 8 with 22kg added, his dumbbell row from 8 at 20kg to 8 at 40kg, and his Romanian deadlift from 8 at 40kg to 8 at 80kg. His body fat dropped from 27% to sub 12%, comfortably clearing the 18% target he had been set.

Today I feel much more confident, much more energetic, and I go about my day-to-day sports and family life without the fear of injury. I’ve lost more than a couple of inches, which means my old clothes don’t fit me anymore. I’ve dropped a few sizes, so it’s shopping time again for me.Sid
What stuck
Sid points to two lessons he is carrying forward: nutrition mattered as much as training, and consistency mattered more than either. Friends and family noticed the change too, telling him his physique looked more toned and his face looked more defined, often the first thing people commented on.
Food and nutrition play a very important role in addition to exercise. Consistency is not just about nutrition or exercise, it’s key for me, and it’s what I’m going to keep focusing on.Sid
His advice to anyone on the fence is simple.
If you are motivated and you feel you can commit to something that is going to be beneficial for you, take the plunge and give it your best.Sid
