Still in shape, two years on
Benoit is a busy father and CFO of a multinational company. Nearly two years after his initial transformation with ATP, he hasn’t just held onto his results, he’s kept building on them, and turned healthy living into something that no longer takes any real effort to maintain.
When I first started to work with ATP Personal Training, these kinds of behaviours seemed like a constraint, but I think it was because it was so different from how I used to eat. Now it works for me as a balanced and sustainable way to maintain the results I worked so hard for.Benoit

A routine that runs itself
Benoit trains early in the morning before work, gets outside for at least ten minutes of sun most days, and starts each morning with a glass of water and a squeeze of fresh lemon, topping up with electrolyte tablets through the day. None of it feels like extra effort anymore, it’s just his day, and he says the sun habit alone has helped him keep a level temper at work.
I like to train early in the morning before work, because it helps me to channel my energy and helps me perform better in every aspect of my day.Benoit
Eating like it’s not a diet
He no longer skips breakfast, cooks most of his own meals so he knows roughly what he’s eating, and still leaves room for dessert as long as the rest of the meal balances out. He has also become calorie conscious, which he credits with giving him far more flexibility in what he eats day to day and making the whole approach easier to sustain long term.
I no longer skip breakfast and I find that I have more energy in the mornings.Benoit

More muscle, less pain, faster running
Building muscle did more than change how Benoit looks. It improved his running and fixed the back pain he used to get from long days at his desk. He has scaled his training back from three sessions a week to two, dropped the supplements, added his own cardio and some kickboxing, and still managed to knock 10 minutes off his best 10k time.
I weigh almost the same as I did in my 20s but I have much more muscle now.Benoit
Two years on, his focus stays on the process rather than the outcome. He would rather build a routine that fits his life for the long haul than grind through a short, miserable push for a quick result.
