It was never a discipline problem
Deep is 41 and the CFO of a multinational. She had tried to get fit on her own, different workouts and different approaches, and none of it stuck or showed up in a way she could measure. People assume a senior professional who cannot get fit lacks willpower. Deep runs a finance function across a multinational. Discipline was never the issue. What she was missing, in her own words, was accountability, structure and a way to track her progress.
- Weight: 58.3kg
- Body fat: 31%
- Goal: lose fat, keep and build muscle, in 20 weeks
A programme reviewed every week
With her coach, Danial, the programme was built around Deep and her calendar, then reviewed every week against how her body was actually responding to the training and the nutrition. That weekly correction, catching a stall before it happened, is the difference between a plan and coaching.

It wasn’t just designed once. We were going through the progress every week, which really helped me see the progress. And if something wasn’t working, my coach was prompt enough to make the adjustments, whether it was the nutrition or the workouts.Deep, CFO
She beat her goal a week early
Deep set out to reach 19% body fat in 20 weeks. She reached 16.5% in 19, close to half the body fat she started with. Her weight came down from 58.3kg to 50kg and her waist by 10cm, and she did all of it while getting stronger, shedding around 10kg of fat while holding and even adding lean mass. That is recomposition, and it is the change that lasts.
- Body fat: 31% → 16.5%
- Weight: 58.3kg → 50kg, 8.3kg lost
- Waist: 81cm → 71cm
- Lean mass: +1.5kg

And it held
In the months after her programme window, Deep’s logged progress kept going the right way: body fat to 13%, waist to 68.7cm, weight steady around 51kg. The new baseline is real, not a peak she had to fight to hold.
