We track your results by how you look and feel, using fat loss, girth measurements and how your clothes fit, not solely by how much weight you've lost. Sometimes the best indicator of success is when you can fit back into those clothes you haven't worn in years.

The coaching process used by our personal trainers has three components: Daily Routine, Nutrition, Activity. We audit every part of your lifestyle and provide tailored, step by step instructions for your specific situation. Every body is different.

Daily Routine:


What you do outside of the gym has a tremendous impact on your results and your health but so often people neglect these crucial areas. We audit every part of your current lifestyle to ensure that any potential limiting factors are addressed and either removed or negated.

We break your goals down into simple processes that add up to massive changes. You’ll build healthy, sustainable habits that become effortless over time. We address key areas such as sleep, stress management and recovery to ensure that you're making the optimal rate of progress for you. We pay particular attention to the simple daily actions that compound over time and reinforce lasting changes.

Making lifestyle changes is the key to lasting success with nutrition and training. Ultimately, this about creating a lifestyle that you love, a lifestyle that feeds your motivation and energises you each day.



Our approach to Nutrition is built around scientific principles tailored to your specific lifestyle.  Whilst the science of nutrition is endlessly complex the practical application is reassuringly simple (that doesn't necessarily mean easy). We take the the essential elements of nutrition and move you along a continuum towards a flexible and adaptive approach  which will enrich your life.

Nutrition shouldn't be about deprivation and restriction. Our focus instead is on consuming foods that make you feel great, that give you steady energy, that stabilise your blood sugar and optimise your digestion. The strategy you employ will remain constant throughout your time with us we will teach you a variety of tactics that means sticking to your diet will be simple regardless of your circumstances.



Your training will be tailored to you. We believe in training hard and training smart. We want you to get maximum value from every single session, and that means ensuring that we progressively increase the loading we place on you over time. It also means we need to understand where to start you in terms of training intensity. During your first training session you will be put through a series of assessments to gauge your current training capacity. This assessment is fundamental to the process and allows your coach to understand precisely how to train you to ensure maximum efficiency and minimise risk.

Unlike a cookie cutter approach, which would rush you to perform exercises that your structure might not be ready for, this is a tailored plan that will change and evolve as your body adapts. We design programs that allow you to train intensely whilst addressing muscular imbalances and weaknesses. Your training program will be revised and reviewed regularly based on your progress, all of our coaches are comfortable writing long-term periodised programs that help clients to smash their previous limitations.

Activity encompasses more than just the time you spend in the gym with us. Part of creating a lifestyle you love is infusing regular activity in your day to day existence. Let's be honest, traditional forms of cardio can be boring and don't offer much of a return for the time invested.  We would rather you spend your time engaged in activities that enrich your life and don't simply represent a limited short terms trade off of tolerating boredom in order to burn calories. There are myriad synergistic ways of combining regular low intensity activity with other healthy habits and it's exciting to share these behaviours with clients.



What gets measured gets managed. We leave nothing to chance with our clients' results. We measure and record a variety of health markers and take regular progress photos. Performance tracking allows us to review and understand your progression and make adjustments when required and even to anticipate when changes will be necessary.

Consistent tracking means we can demonstrate how far you have come on your journey. There is nothing better for building motivation and momentum than seeing the progress you've already made. Seeing what you're capable of achieving fuels your future ambitions.

We track weight, body fat percentage, girth measurements, exercise performance, overall health markers (as shared by the client) and document progress through regular photos and videos.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is this better than other gyms?

  1. Other commercial gyms are focussed on session numbers and hitting sales targets and personal training is an afterthought product layered onto their gym membership model. Personal Training gyms are either exlcusively focussed on short term, unsustainable transformations or waste their clients time and energy with a rent a friend service.
  2. We do things a little differently. Our gyms are exclusive personal training facilities; all of our coaches work 1 on 1 with their clients. This allows for a remarkably efficient training experience, your entire training session will be tailored to maximise results based around your specific needs.
  3. Unlike other gyms we offer support, feedback and coaching outside of the gym.
  4. Other gyms only focus on training, and sometimes nutrition. We offer a complete service including lifestyle, diet and your non-gym activity.
  5. Other gyms treat their clients like the product, driving them towards photos shoots in a set time period. We place your needs above the needs of our marketing department. We care deeply about the sustainability of the changes that you make.

How personalized is the program?

Every client's plan of action will be unique. Your D.N.A. (Daily Routine, Nutrition and Activity) plan will be unique - this is not a generic, templated plan.

You will be assigned a dedicated coach. Your coach will take the time to understand you , your history, your goals and motivations to help you to build a customised plan and tailor the long term strategy accordingly.

Your coach will review your progress and measurements and provide clear feedback and advice, as well as act a a strategic advisor to help you make adjustments to your plan as you progress.

Can I do it if I'm inexperienced in the gym?

Everyone can achieve dramatic results and experience an amazing personal transformation. Your personal coach will tailor the starting level of intensity based around the initial consultation and assessment workout. This will ensure that you are always working towards the edge of your current capacity but not beyond it which would invite sloppy technique, loose form and potential injury.

Some of our most dramatic transformations have come from clients who had little to no experience with training and nutrition prior to starting with ATP Personal Training. We're there alongside you for the entire process and will ensure that you're properly able to execute on our advice.

Can I start even if I've haven't exercised for a long-time or ever?

Our coaches will ensure that you are ramped up towards exercising intensely over the course of your first week or weeks with us. We take pride in applying the appropriate does of exercise to match our clients' existing capacity, there is no benefit to training far beyond your current capacity. In fact, this type of approach will actually be less efficient, place an enormous recovery cost on the body and potentially compromise your structural integrity.

How much fat will I lose?

We track bodyweight, body fat percentage and girth measurements to give us a wide array of progress markers.

For most clients as they start the transformation process Weightloss on the scale is a good indicator of progress and you can expect to lose between 0.5kg to 1.0 kg each week. During the early stages this number can be even higher as the body responds to the new program and becomes rapidly less inflamed.
