Hitting a plateau
Firdaos had been training on his own and hit a plateau, both in how he looked and how he felt. He researched his options online and decided to put himself in the hands of professionals, reaching out to ATP Personal Training rather than trying to push through it alone.
What stood out was the idea of being matched with a coach suited to his goals, routine and lifestyle. Compared with other gyms he had looked at, it felt like a far more personal approach.
It appeared like ATP had more of a personal touch than other gyms I looked at.Firdaos
Building it into his life
He wanted more than a quick fix. Firdaos felt ready to properly address his health, and saw it as a chance to invest in a genuine foundation for his fitness rather than chase a short-term result.
Rather than a crash diet, he was looking for an approach that could fully integrate with his lifestyle and become a permanent part of how he lived, not just a temporary phase.

I wanted this to be my life, a process which would fully integrate with my lifestyle.Firdaos
The numbers
Over the course of his programme, Firdaos started at 18% body fat and brought it down to 9.5%. His weight dropped from around 69kg to 64kg, a loss of 5kg.

Beyond the gym
The discipline Firdaos built in the gym spilled into the rest of his life. Being driven by tangible goals, he found real satisfaction in having the willpower to show up and get results.
That focus bled into other areas too. Overall, he describes himself as more disciplined, more empowered and more focused on things that have nothing to do with fitness.
I’m more empowered and focused to do other things in my life.Firdaos
Inspiring others
Firdaos’s own progress has rubbed off on the people around him. Seeing the change in how he looks, and everything behind it, has given friends the confidence that they can do it too.
Several of them are now thinking about tracking their macros or hiring their own personal trainers, a ripple effect Firdaos never expected when he first walked through ATP’s doors.
So to actually have the discipline and willpower to walk in and actually get results, it feels good.Firdaos
