Despite the interruption of gym closures Dorothy stayed committed to her plan and, under the expert guidance of her ATP Personal Training coach, lost an incredible 15 centimetres from her waist and achieved the athletic look she always dreamed of!

How would you compare yourself from before you started to now, in terms of fitness, mindset, physique, and health?
At the beginning, I never thought I could achieve something like this but now that I have done it I feel so much more comfortable with my body shape. I also feel much stronger mentally because I was able to fully commit and achieve such a goal.
My friends and family are all amazed by my result and how much my physique has changed in these few weeks.
I am so much slimmer, fitter, and healthier than before! More importantly, my mindset has changed and I am able to understand what a healthy lifestyle is and be far more conscious of my food and exercise.
Before, I was feeling out of shape and almost gave up on my body with a lot of excessive eating. I wanted to become healthier and regain control. Working with ATP provided me with the support, framework, and focus I needed to get started.

How has this affected those that are close to you, has it inspired or motivated them to take action?
Those who are close to me had doubts at first since they know me too well and know how much of a foodie I am. They thought I was joking when I told them I signed up for a personal training program. But once they started to see my progress and results, they began to take me seriously and became very supportive. I truly believe some were inspired by my outcome. Suddenly quite a few friends and co-workers have decided to resume their long-forgotten exercise routine or have started new gym memberships or nutrition plans. I am glad I can be an inspiration to others.

Was it intimidating getting started?
I had never set foot in a gym until I walked into ATP. The thought of an exhausting workout and using those big machines was just so intimidating. However, now, for the first time in my life, I have the knowledge to lead a healthy lifestyle; I am educated and conscious of my food choices and I make exercise and nutrition a regular part of my lifestyle.
