Jack overcame a serious ankle injury and left behind a personal training company that sucked the passion out of him to take control of his career and physique. He now sets a standard that inspires his clients.
Coming from an elite sports environment in the UK playing professional rugby, Jack brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with his clients. Unfortunately, his previous company sucked the passion out of him. This combined with a serious ankle injury meant that Jack lost sight of his goals and let go of his physique.
What makes ATP different to other gyms you have worked at?
With ATP there is a much clearer focus on building the right culture from the ground up. We might work with our clients 1 on 1 but we also work collectively to ensure we can provide all clients with the best possible information and service. The focus from day one has been on continued professional development and translating that education into generating sustainable results for clients.

It highlighted to me that yes, on paper the transformation could be simple; stay in a deficit and train well, but life doesn't always allow that. What have you learnt from this experience that you can apply to your clients ?
Practising what I preach is something I had probably underestimated in my career until my transformation. It was good to reset my attitude towards my own health and fitness.
At ATP we encompass these positive habits into the clients DNA report (Daily routine, Nutrition, Activity). The importance of short-term goals to keep motivation high, especially during the middle weeks. It’s easy to let things slide slightly when the initial excitement about goals may have faded and the end is not quite in sight.
I also underestimated the importance of routine. By the time I had achieved my own transformation I still kept to the same routines because my entire lifestyle had transformed.
I was sleeping really well, I was more productive and better in my relationships. Having this knowledge to pass on to my clients really highlights the importance of getting in shape, not just for aesthetics but for everything that comes with it for a better all-round lifestyle.
