“My greatest achievement has been able to fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes after only 4 months! With my first pregnancy it took two years to get back to that point.”

Victoria began her journey with ATP only 6 weeks after the birth of her second child.  Committing to only 2 hours a week in the gym, Victoria not only achieved an inspiring physical change but became a more confident mother.

Speaking directly to other mothers, what benefits would a structured health and fitness regime have on their health and well-being?

5 months after I had my first child I had to go and buy all new clothes in bigger sizes, this time 5 months postpartum I have lost the baby weight and am back in all my pre-pregnancy clothes. 

When you are a new mum you need all the help you can get! I needed someone to guide me in the right direction and encourage me to keep going and reassure me that I was doing well and my coach at ATP definitely gave me all these things.

I was prepared and hopeful for a physical change but what was most surprising to me was the difference it made to my mental well-being after having a child.

The nutrition guidance was invaluable as I learnt I didn’t have to cut anything out, and also what foods I should be eating to fuel my body properly. I learnt a lot about nutrition but also the program was very flexible so that it worked for me, especially while breastfeeding. 

Has your improved health, fitness and body composition had a positive impact on your family life?

It has had a huge impact on my family life as I am generally a happier person now. I feel healthier, fitter and stronger every day. I feel that I can confidently go out with my two children and physically look after them both - lugging a car seat in and out of taxis and keeping a 3-year-old close by can be hard work! I look after myself properly and realize that doesn’t have to come at the detriment of my family or family time.

What do you think has been your greatest achievement since trusting ATP with your health and fitness journey? 

My greatest achievement has been able to fit in my pre-pregnancy clothes after only 4 months, when with my first pregnancy it took two years to get back to that point. I can also now 10 press ups! When I started I couldn’t do any!
