Why did you decide that now was the right time to get started?

A friend of mine has gone through the program before and had some impressive results.

I have been training for many years but I was going through the endless cycles of injury, no activity for a few months and starting again. Then I realised that I needed to learn more about technique, nutrition, progressive training for more sustainable results.

How would you compare yourself from day one to now, in terms of fitness,mindset, physique and health?

There was a huge lifestyle change that I really enjoy now. Going to sleep and waking up early, better diet, more positive energy.

What been the greatest difference in your life since working with ATP?

The lifestyle. I wouldn’t go back to my old ways. The consistent support of my coach, Iskandar, allowed me to make the change despite all my initial resistance. Iskandar’s daily support was key to be consistent with dieting, training, cardio. An important takeaway is also learning proper training technique (injury free), understanding the benefits of a proper diet and noticing the importance of consistency.

What has surprised you about the process?

The professionalism of all the people I met at ATP. While training with Iskandar, I never had an injury. He quickly learned when I needed help while training, when I was reaching my limits, how to go around my past injuries.

How have Yi Jie’s new job and schedule presented a challenge in her transformation journey, and how do you plan to help her continue making progress?

She will continue working with us at ATP, but with a new job, the schedule has changed, presenting a new challenge. Nonetheless, we are confident in Yijie’s ability to continue making progress towards her next goal.

What would be your advice for someone about to start their own fitness journey?

I’d tell them to join ATP. You’ll save yourself time, energy and frustration. You learn from pros and you develop skills that you can use for life. Don’t expect to learn this from online self-proclaimed gurus. You simply can’t replace the attentiveness and accountability that you get from personal training at ATP.
